Our Game. Our Youth. Our Future.

Our Founder, Pops And Our Powerful Student-Athletes At Our Community Basketball Camp.

who we are

Seed Academy Ghana is a 501c3 organization based in New York + Accra, Ghana and established in 2018 by Pops Mensah-Bonsu, former NBA player and current President of Basketball Operations for the Westchester Knicks.

We equip Ghanaian boys and girls, ages 8-18, with essential tools for life mastery and enriched interpersonal skills, driven by lessons inspired by the sport of basketball.

Our framework will produce young adults with the ability to transition to sustainable livelihoods, enjoying dignified and fulfilling work while contributing to social and economic change.
